Once again, MAA's students entered the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC), a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school students. For Grade 3, students in Mrs. Hall and Mrs. O'Connell's classes participated and there was one team winner who also received the National Honor Roll award, placing him in the top 10% of students nationwide. There were also six third-grade students who received the Honorable Mention award, which is greater than 50% nationwide. Grade 4 had two team winners, four National Honor Roll winners, and 17 Honorable Mention Awards. Fifth grade had 8 students receive Honorable Mention and one Team Winner. In sixth grade, there were 4 co-team winners and 13 Honorable Mention Winners.
