After checking the water temperature and chemical levels, 75-100 eggs were released and should hatch in a few days. MAA is one of only 80 schools in MA participating. What a great lesson for our students to learn about the concepts of ecology, population biology, water quality, and conservation. Special thanks to Mrs. Peters, Grade 4, 5, & 6 Science/STEM Teacher, parents, and students for all they have done to prepare for this special project. We are so excited to see the eggs hatch and then release the fish in 2024. Stay tuned for updates...what a wondeful learning experience for our students!
