Why I teach: I have always had a strong desire to make a difference in a student’s life. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive classroom where students feel valued and can reach not only their academic potential but also their social and emotional goals.
Teaching Science is something that brings me joy. I am grateful for the spacious and up-to-date class/laboratory space that is available for our science classes. While implementing a hands-on, real-world curriculum, I strive to give students knowledge about things happening in the world around them. Students have participated in a number of experiences from NASA STEM virtual days, Tomatosphere projects, and the Eversource Wattsville Presentation. Moving forward, the goal is to continue these experiences and add to them.
